About
Professor Robert T. Danforth joined Washington and Lee in 1997, where he taught until 2024. His teaching and scholarship focused on taxation and trusts and estates. He was the Law Alumni Association Fellow in Teaching Excellence, 2004-2005 and Alumni Faculty Fellow, 2005-2006. Professor Danforth's scholarly publications include books, book chapters, and articles. His articles have appeared in a variety of law and tax journals.
